NOW I understand why you let your license lapse - you WANT to go to jail.

(still totally digging the new look!)

Scary, scary scary! Hope you survived! I'm glad my son is only 4 and I don't have to face this for quite some time. Perhaps they will have better protection for passengers by the time he is driving.

I guess this is another mothering rite of passage.

Oh honey, I just let my 18 year old start driving on the interstate. 70 mph! It just keeps getting better. Have 2 margaritas and pray while drinking them!

Interesting because we are doing the driver's ed thing right now, and it's not going real good. The roads are so bad tonight with snow and ice that the state police are saying "stay home, don't drive if you don't have to". Our son is suppose to drive tomorrow with the teacher-- they haven't cancelled yet because they are "waiting to see what it's like tomorrow". H E L L O... what the heck does it take? So, has your son driven alone yet?

3 more years, until I'm in your shoes.. Atleast, I'll know who to come to for moral support!

I let my step daughter drive one day because no one else was crazy enough to get in the car with her. We wound up over a curb and into some bushes with a busted radiator! Good times....Not really.

Yikes! For the record, the worrying doesn't ever go away. Even if they drive like an old man.

It's going to be a bumpy ride!

That must be terrifying. I refuse to think about the time when Kaylee will be old enough to drive. Just thinking about kindergarten gets me all in a tissy.

As usual, I'm late to the party. But I hope there is another post after this one. Then I at least know you lived to tell the story.
