Blogversations: Show & Tell

Ms. Summer over at Le Musings of Moi has lured me in with her welcoming blog, sweet smile and hair expertise (tell me, could you resist?). She hosts Blogversations on Saturdays, and I am joining in the fun today.

And in other news, I am still accepting comments about my overwhelming beauty and stylishness here. I'll announce the grand total that I'll be sending over to Jay on Monday.

Without further ado, I present to you my Saturday show and tell. Come join the fun over at Summer's!

Did you say plenty horny?

That Valentine's Day vase can double as a Christmas decoration - it's red and white, so there!

I just put the last of my Christmas ornaments away yesterday. It was some red sparkly fruit and holly leaves that were in a container. I had to move them to make room for the flowers I put in it.

I just have to reiterate (as I've already commented on the other post) that I am lovin the hair.

That is awesome. Maybe my show and tell should be of how messy my house is. That should make everyone feel great!!! ;-)

By the way, I LOVE the paint color on your walls! What color is that?

And you look awesome. Diet shmiet.

You sound like me! I take forever to put my stuff away! Good luck on that...lol!

Super cute Valentine's vase!

Deb, you are just so cute. I heart you. :) And I love what you did for your blogversations. Can I just tell you that we still have our Christmas tree in a box in our entryway? Yeah...it's too heavy for ME to take out the garage, so I'll let you take a gander at whose fault it is that it's still there.

Hey, at least you don't still have the tree up. {*grin*}

A couple of years ago due to both L and I being on the road, the artificial tree was still up and decorated on May 1. So you've got plenty of time to stay ahead of schedule.

We once left our mistle toe up year round, for about four years in a row. We weren't being cute, just lazy. I mean we really never saw it cause it was above our heads and we are relatively short people. We only took it down cause we moved out.

I can beat that kinda!!!
I was on iChat with my sister yesterday and she has a STILLPACKED suitcase on her KITCHENFLOOR from DECEMBER.
Can you even believe that :}
Don't tell her I told you...

I love your vlogging! I swear to you- I have the exact same Christmas hand towel in my box on the basement steps"to go downstairs"- that's my husband's job- so, of course, it's not done.

All I do is take it down, box it up and put it at the steps- I could show you a VERY similar box there!

So, when are you and Jay coming out to Utah, so I can meet your cute self?

Your video stops after the word "today". It took TWO HOURS to upload the video I will be having on Tuesday. I hope that doesn't happen to me since I'm not sure of what I'm doing to begin with. But thank you for giving me the courage to try it!

I still have a Santa on my front door! The shame....

It's driving me batty that I can't see this. It keeps pausing and stopping and not starting... So could you just send me an email and tell me every last thing you said? Kidding, of course, but UGH! I'll try again later...

:( I can't watch it. It says it's private and that I have to have been invited.

That's too funny & I am not laughing at you but with you because I just took some snow flake decorations off a speaker in my living room where they were laying under a book since my daughter's bday party back on Jan 20ish!

Well if it is anything like my stashes...I have put them into the spare room which is supposed to be my hubby's office. Now if it was his stash...it would be out in the garage!! tehe

BTW..miss sassy, sweet, and savory hair..does this one count as a separate comment? Not on the same post...think it should...

Well dont feel bad about having your decorations out. I just put my pointsettas up (artifical ones)...yes, that doesnt seem too bad until you realize I have left them out for 3 years. LOL

I'm gonna show this to my husband. He doesn't believe me when I tell him other wives are as bad at "housekeeping" (how I hate that word) as I am. I love ya, Deb!

We seriously only took down our tree because the cats were about to knock it over and we had stopped watering it. At least you have everything all packed up and ready for when you need it again :)

You are such an inspiration and boost to our egos.

Only...

We have one of those piles in EVERY STINKING ROOM.

So, feel better about yourself, young jedi.

Heather of the EO said...

You're my kind of lady. Yes, just leave it there and decorate early next time.

These videos really are fun, I'm loving it. Keep 'em comin' :)

Jen said...

Completely agree! I just took the lights down from outside but I really should have just left them up b/c it would have been less work for next year.

Sigh. You'd think that all us bloggers would be a little more organized, what with all the time we have on our hands---oh, wait. We're sitting at the computer.

Nevermind.

Thank you for sharing this with us all. I'm so glad others are joining in. I love these. I totally meant to do one until I went away this weekend. Maybe I can get it together soon.

Cajoh said...

You know as well as I do that there is a difference between inspiration and motivation. I sure hope that tripping over the ornaments when you get dressed everyday motivates you to decorate your tree earlier this year.

Summer got to you...and Jay. The blog world is falling under her control. I'll have to come back and check this out when I can actually listen to the audio -- the Little One is yakking away right now. In fact, I think my "sneaking away to blog time" is over! Be back soon to finish catching up on your blog!

I really do believe we are twins separated at birth.

You weren't adopted by any chance were you?

Sooooo worth the wait!

I'm digging that vase, chickadee. You Hubs has good taste. Matches the Valentine's Hearts I still have hanging from my chandelier.

I'm celebrating love, all year round.

Adorable - per usual. Still digging the hair.
