Thankful Thursday (aka The Day I Officially Went Insane)

Following in Kristina P.'s footsteps, I would like to give thanks on this cold and rainy Thankful Thursday.

I am thankful for the crazy, barely functioning mall security gang who NOT ONLY kept me company for the 2 hours I stood in the rain waiting for my car to be unlocked, but also reminded me why my kids must stay in school and get a good job.

I am thankful for the emo punks with the striped hair and bad attitudes that NOT ONLY chain smoked right next to me for the 2 hours I stood in the rain waiting for my car to be unlocked, but also reminded me why my kids must stay in school and get a good job.

I am thankful for the Macy's worker that thought I wanted to buy a car key from her when I was hysterically searching for my keys BEFORE I realized I had locked them in my car. Clearly something was lost in translation.

Finally, I am thankful for Chik-fil-A, whose tasty #1 with a Diet Coke calmed me for the second day in a row.

OH! And I am also thankful for the extremely tardy and way too jovial locksmith that NOT ONLY did quite a number to my paint job while breaking into my car, but also allowed me to rest my weary, soaked, cold, flip-flopped feet in his smelly, smoky, possibly lice-infested tow truck while taking his car-breaker-inner-thing and hacking the side of my car with it.

Oh Deb!

You so should have sprung for Chick-fil-a's new festive peppermint milk shake to help calm those nerves a little more.

But I guess that wouldn't have gone too well with the cold rain, huh?

Sorry for the mess!!

Awww Deb, that sucks!!! Why do people LIKE Chik-fil-A?? I only see it when I am in Florida and I went ONCE and their sammie only had a pickle on it! No lettuce and NO MAYO!! No MAYO is a cardinal SIN!! Well I don't know what the whole cardinal thing stands for but you get my point!!

First-Isn't Chick fil a diet coke the best! If only they served it with Sonic ice?

Second-I've had a few days like that lately and have been reevaluating my position on medicinal marijuana.

Third-Find the post on my blog about the time my step mom and I "locked " ourselves out of our car at work. You'll feel better;)

Hope the evening got better.
