Cue the Violins

I feel like I have been extremely remiss in my blog duties. And no, I haven't lost my mind... I know I don't have any actual duties (of which I am aware). I didn't take any oath, although who knows what I agreed to when I hastily (and blindly) accepted the rather lengthy Blogger.com "terms of service". But I really do feel a sense of obligation to you, my dear friends (Yes, I just called you friends. Have I crossed some sort of blog stalker line?).

You laugh at my lame jokes, you guide me through my crises (both small and large), you commiserate, you teach, and sometimes, you are simply there. And that's where I have fallen down on the job over the last few days.

And I have no good excuse! Now, if I had been on a cruise, like a certain someone we all know, or tending to the hearts of grieving friends, like someone else that hob nobs with our little gang, then I might not feel so bad.

I not only feel bad for not being here for you, I feel bad for me because I have probably missed out on some raucous tales, some inside jokes, some killer recipes and lots and lots of laughs. I know you are there, just waiting to pick up where we left off (or hoping that I have forgotten all about my little "Panic Attack" series), and that makes me happy.

Ok, then! Let's get on with it! I've got a hair dilemma that needs your immediate attention. Details in the A.M.

I can't wait to hear about the hair dilemma! And don't feel like you always have to comment on every blog. Except mine, of course. ;)

I'm commenting on yours because I want you to know I come by here EVERYDAY from my blackberry and STILL have not figured out how to comment from that thing. I read this and had to get on my blackberry to say hi!!

Oh Deb - it's all cool - at least to me. Who cares if you don't make it back around to everyone's blog when you're simply busy with your life? YOu can tell you're the real deal, you know?

Take your time and looking forward to hair dilemma...I'm in my own hair crisis right now...

Don't listen to Lee!!! Just kidding! We all are there in some form or fashion. I had this brilliant idea for everyone to only blog once a week so we wouldn't miss anything and wouldn't be overwhelmed with blogging AND the holidays. But no one bit. I have missed you. And I can't wait to see/hear about your hair issues.

I don't know anyone keeps all the balls in the air - blogging, social media, and off line life. Sometimes you just have to take time off too!

I really like that blogging once a week idea, tempting!

I feel the exact same way when I am missing from blogworld for any amount of time- what kind of hypnosis have we been put under? I get you girl! I like it when people e-mail me privately when I've been missing for a while- makes me feel 'special' and gets my ass back to avoiding life!

Your still loved...no matter how often you blog or how often you comment. Dont worry so much. (but we do miss you when your gone)

What can I say that hasn't already been said better?

I'm glad to be your friend, fellow stalker. ;}

It's good to miss a party now and then to just be...alone, at rest, away, whatever. Invitations are different than obligations, but it sure is hard to find the boundary lines sometimes. Make the boundaries that suit you best.

I am glad that you found my blog! I tend to write mostly about CF with a few other things thrown in. I am sure that as Luke and the new baby get older my blog will switch over to more of a kids blog. I look forward to getting to know you through your posts :)

Deb, we all get busy with life. I work 70hrs a week and take care of 2 kids and my wife. Anyone in their right mind and or not so right mind can't fault anyone for not Blogging for a few days or even a week if that is what life dictates. from my Crackberry.

Can't wait to hear the "hair" story.

Eh, don't sweat it. I do wonder what this hair dilemma is though. Guess I'll have to stay tuned.

That is absolutely amazing about the weight gain! I sure do hope that it gets approved! Luke could use it especially when he is going through puberty.

I will definitely post pictures of the baby tomorrow :)

Okay, now I feel guilty because I didn't KNOW you weren't posting because I haven't since Sunday. I have a bad cold and have been offline a lot. You know-- napping, moping, reading, sleeping-- oh wait I already said that.

So now I feel guilty that YOU feel guilty, since I didn't know...yep, really, it's sad.

I'll be here tomorrow for the hair crisis!

The very LEAST you could do is throw yourself on the floor and crawl through ashes for abandoning us. We are you gift from God ya know.
