Six Word Saturday

Since I can't think for myself these days, I am jumping on yet another bandwagon. This one caught my eye last week, and I really like the idea. It's called Six Word Saturday, hosted by Call Me Cate, over at Show My Face. The idea behind it is quite profound, and when I can put enough thought into it, I'd like to come up with a six word sentence to describe my life, like the people did in the book that inspired this game. For now, I will go with what's on the top of my head...

Beside Myself...Son Skiing in Canada

Pretend your verbosity is being held hostage by a stark raving maniac (Call Me Cate would be said maniac), and play along!

I may be a bit of an odd duck but I'm truly honored to be called a stark raving maniac. It's true people, play along or I'll HUNT YOU DOWN!!! ;)

I'm no a fan of the skiing, Deb. It's... cold. And bruisy.

I'm thinking of you Brave Mama!!

How's that for a six word sentence? Do contractions count?

Heading out to the sa-lon! Wish me luck.

I love it! I hadn't ever heard of it and all of a sudden like five blogs that I follow did it today! lol

I like your new pic! Although I have to say it's the first pic that makes me feel like your taking steps forward, not tumbling backward.. and I think that's why I like it :) It's a happy sunny pic. lol I'm a dork.

I see you changed your picture. Even though it seems opposite your sentence— (since it is a summer photo) it makes you look quite sophisticated.

I can appreciate the stress. I about lost it the last time the kids were out of town without me. (Also wanted to mention that, according to your post about your husband, sounds like we're sharing the same marriage!)

Nice to "meet" you Deb! I have not located said creepy photographer guy...he's probably photoshopping my kids into kinky porn as I type. Fab.

Son skiing in Canada? Us canucks are usually harmless. Watch out for the Newfies, though.

Great 6 words to describe yourself right now. I'd like to read the book that inspired this prompt.

Fun idea -- I think I am much too long winded to keep anything to 6 words...

Maybe I will try it sometime!

I'm with Real Mom, I think I might be too verbose for six words.

Geesh Deb, like I could do ONLY 6 words. I think my head would explode! However, your six words said it all:) I bet he's having a great time!

Relax...your son will be fine (I can safely say that because all of my boys are tucked in bed). ..no, really, he will be.

Ok..I think the six words game is hilarious but you know, they don't call me the rambler for nothin...I'm not sure I could EVER stick to the rules of only 6 words....although it would be great for those busy weekends once baseball starts back up. ;)
