Addendum to Tuesday's Tribute: REAL Class

Maybe you've noticed that my posts have been rather lacking in substance of late (or maybe you smart ones have figured out that's the status quo!). I have been feeling fairly emotional about a whole host of issues in my life... friendships, mostly. I know this is the perfect place to sort them all out and just write, even if it isn't coherent or interesting or nice. But, for some reason, I can't quite solidify what I am feeling enough to even think about where to start. It's all still in my heart and hasn't quite traveled to my brain yet. Hopefully it will get there soon. Until then, I present to you even more nonsense. Perhaps next time I'll comb my hair.

No, that was really cute and you did a great job. I can see the ease of the reach through. Now, can you break out the front of a dishwasher too?

I can send my kids over - they would love to shoot out those glass fronts with their nerf darts!

4 years - really??? 4 years?
I have to say - I would be REALLY mad at my hubs for that one!!!!

I would have said that you need a handyman, but I don't know any to send your way. Shows that even if it's broken it works even better than before.

Don't break all the glass (You'd only have to clean it up)— just remove it instead.

Deb!! I love this! To see you in action is so killer! You are hilarious! I'm with you - not only should you break all the other glass panes, you should simply remove the doors and have some open shelves. Very modern. We have some open shelves in our kitchen and I actually love them! Makes me keep things organized and no extra calories to burn!

You are so brave for putting yourself out there - I'm not sure I could do it....it would be frightening but hmmm....you might be inspiring me. See you ARE a supermom inspiring all of us other moms out here in blogland... :-)

I promise if we were both on eharmony they would match us up!

That's a good idea don't you think...setting up bloggers on blind dates?

Thanks for the love btw, and we do have a spiderman costume so I'll share that tidbit with them.

LOL! I feel like I just met a long lost friend in person... again...!!! LOL! I love it!

Oh, and, you're not alone. I hate replacing glass. Broke some out of my entertainment center door and left it... for like a year... then just sold the unit. lol!

Also, I'm lovin' the pants. PJ bottoms have become my best friend. Their cute and a lil baggy but not sloppy. They've replaced my sweats. Except for on those bloated days....

Anyway... rambling done. :)

I am all for convenience. That was so hiLARious!!! You are too cute!!! I guess if you put saran wrap up there he would just leave that, too, huh?

Hilarious. And it's SO fun to hear your voice!

On another note, I'm pretty sure we have the same dishes. Natch.

With a kitchen THAT organized and clean, you FORCED me to concentrate on your hair. YOU brought it up! You are a brave, brave woman to do what you did and I'm going to have to do it too....my hair's not combed, but with the mess in my kitchen, no one will notice.

You just settled a year long cabinet debate at our house. You see, about a year ago, I broke the lazy Susan by climbing in it. And I had to climb in it to get the casserole dish that fell behind it. So, the darn cabinet was yanked out and has yet to be fixed. Basically, it is just an open cabinet.

And like you, I love the ease of use of just reaching in and grabbing the various items stored down there.

Such a funny one, you are!

All I kept thinking was all the time you save by not having to Windex the damn things.

I think you should give away the chance to smash your glass - now THAT would be a cool contest.

That is very convenient. Oh oh and "green" because you're not wasting glass. That is green right?

Our BFF's, the whole family, just recently put cabinet doors ON their cabinets. It only took George 20+ years to do it. I am NOT kidding, the fact that they are now there weirds me out everytime I am over there. I am so used to seeing every item in their kitchen and piled all over the place...now it hides from me, I hate it! LOL!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA First, awesome hair and pants going on there. Your hair is so smooth and flippy:) I am so with you on not replacing that glass. I see I will now have to share my kitchen from our old house where I actually took off the upper cabinet doors:) I am not joking.

You are too funny!

You need your own morning show, I would watch you. I think that's a fabulous idea, just take those puppies out of there and you don't have to wash them either!!

Love your convenient cabinet. I would be with you on the temptation to remove the glass from all of them.

Hope you get your friend thoughts together soon. I'd love to hear them, and if it's any help, I've found you to be a great addition to my life.
