Teen Talk Sans Teens (Thank God)

Okay, forget the teens. I have no words of wisdom regarding those curious creatures, as mine are sending me perilously close to the edge. However, I thought I would share with you a nice little treat waiting for me when I came home from a stressful afternoon of having to interact with actual living, breathing human beings. Enjoy. Oh, and those disturbing black marks on the side of my washing machine are from this hose thing that keeps my mudroom from flooding.

Oh Deb, that was hilarious! I kept on waiting to hear that somehow your teen was involved in the movement of the machine.

I tell ya...machines... they're smarter than what we give them credit for!

Beware of bewash! hee hee hee

I guess I better keep an eye on our washing machine. They are sneaky bastards!

Oh hearing your voice and seeing you made me miss you so much my friend!!!!
Stinky washing machine >:(

MISS YOU!

That was hilarious. Your personality totally comes through in that video.

What the...??! That is both hilarious and disturbing that a WASHING MACHINE could move that much on its own!!

I love ya, Deb. You're so cute (I KNOW that's what you're going for in your videos!;-) )

And I noticed the Eat, Drink and Be Merry sign is backward in your video. Is that just how your camera records...or do you have a backward sign? haha!

PS I'm so pregnant, my brain is OFFICIALLY g.o.n.e.

for reals.

I Love you and love your videos. you need to do them more often. Even if all you do is show us your non-functioning household appliances (giggle)

How very cute you are!

Dang, girl, I bet that was a shock to return home to! (I know, sucky English, but what the heck?)

Love the video, and I think your dilemma translates well! Good job!

I'm sorry, I know there was something about a walking washing machine, but all I could focus on was how cute you and your hair is, and how much I adore your house.

Now what about this washing machine?

Wendyburd1 said...

DEB!! My washer walks too!! Whenever it is pissy it walks forward, which blocks the door from being opened more than 4 inches maybe. And only Sandy can squirm her way inside and push it backwards!! At the same time such a tiny laundry room sucks, it keeps the washer from escaping and pulling out its' cords and such!!

Young Momma said...

Oh yeah - that totally worked! LMAO! That sucks!!! If my washer walked... omg... we'd be in so much trouble!!!! As it is, if I did a video about my laundry facilities... I'd show you a video of my clothes as they come right out of the dryer... and I'd ring out a shirt... and show you the bucket full of water that'd come out of it... fresh out of the dryer. LOL ;) Have fun shopping... does it count as fun shopping if it's not something you really WANT?

Heather of the EO said...

Oh, this made me miss you!!!!

And also, your laundry machine needs to go. It's possessed. Or possibly off balance. Like me.

You're so freaking adorable.

That was really cute! Sorry about the dancing washing machine :)

♥georgie♥ said...

you might wanna have your house blessed or something cuz a walking washing machine would scare the crap outta me...lol
Deb you are just so dang cute!

Sweet Annabelle said...

Hmmm - I don't seem to get to buy a new washer when mine walks! I just have to put it back and watch the balance. I'm going to try that angle next time I find it has taken a jaunt!

AGAIN with the ding-dang cute hair. Psh! :)

Hilarious about the washing machine but I truly feel your pain.

Wasn't Lee just looking for a washing machine too?

Go for the new ruby red ones - red!?!

(I'm not letting Hubs watch over my shoulder any longer - you're too stinkin' cute, hair clip and all!)

If it wasn't the teens, check the dog's alibi!

Both my teens and my dog look awfully guilty!

Miss you, miss you!

Lee of MWOB said...

DUDE!!! First of all, this Speaking from the Crib chick wrote the EXACT same thing on MWOB and that really bugs me. What is up with that???? I think we need to teach that blogger a lesson....about proper blogging etiquette. :-)

BUT really now - we must be soul sisters sister because you didn't even TELL me you were having washing machine woes JUST.LIKE.ME!! My new one came on Sunday and yours DIED on Sunday and wow - we are cosmically connected!!

I loved seeing you and made me realize I miss you more than I thought I did. :-)

Good luck.

P.S. What is a mudroom?

Debbie said...

I hate a machine with a big head.

Sassy Britches said...

Deb, I have two things to say:

1.) Am I the only one here remembering the crazy washing machine from the movie "Mr. Mom?" Yes, they had a vacuum cleaner named Jaws but a horrific moving washing machine too! Eeeeek!

2.)And many have already said this, but Holy. Cow. I had no idea how much seeing you and hearing your voice would make me miss you! I was CRACKING up every three seconds. Even though your dilemma was truly an annoying one, I could not stop laughing because you are too much fun. I heart you with the biggest of hearts.

stefanie said...

So, did you get a new one? And did you trade your teenagers in?

Bee and Rose said...

Deb! There is some weird "movement" happening in the world of washers! Mine did this last week!! I was completely aghast because I couldn't get the door to my laundry room open!

deb said...

I thought you were going to say that the kids came in that door and squeezed or climbed by and were in watching tv! Cause I would totally get that.

Margo said...

what a horror movie! teens and a living washing machine? Hope you have fun finding a replacement for one of them. Hope it's the washer because major appliance shopping pathetically is one of the true pleasures in life. There aren't very many people working at Sears these days, so you may not have to interact with any more real humans :)

Brenda Jean said...

BAHAHAHAHAHA I was laughing at your asking us if we could see it like we were there until I realized I wanted to answer you. If your washer walks it's because it's unbalanced-- and no that's not a joke about your mental health:) I just open up the washer, move around the clothes and get it started again. Supposedly newer washers won't do this though. I have to admit the one I have now doesn't, it was the one I had before.

I sound like a know-it-all. I'm done now:)

I think that washer was trying to run away to get out of the duty of doing the wash. I totally know that feeling.

Hi Deb, it's been awhile since I've been this way. I wanted to drop by and say hello. (:

Love your voice Deb. It's so funny and real. Hugs!

HOW I WISH I KNEW HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEOS IN LESS THAN 9 HOURS! I love yours. As for the washer? Damn it darlin', at least you have a mud room for it to dance in. ME? It would be walking right across the back entrance to my house for all the world to see.

Straight to Your Hart said...

If I was a washing machine in my house...I think I would try to runaway myself..giggle. It can sometimes be moody, just like my teen..only difference is it CAN be replaced..LOL

Hello by the way pretty lady!! :)
