Well hello.
The reunion, the explanation for my absence, the gossip from BlogHer '09, and the very important update on my greying roots will all have to wait.
What I have learned today that needs immediate attention is this:
Despite all indication otherwise, one can miss a stinky, silly, immature, belligerent, petulant, manic, perverted 15 year old boy more than a heart can stand.

Deb! I'm sure you DO miss him so much. DID YOU CRY???? :)
I loved hanging out with you guys so much. Thank you for putting up with me. You rock the party. (parties)
I hope to god you are still wearing a feather boa on your head.
Thanks for making blogher such a blast.
I am so glad you're posting! I miss you!
...and one can miss a sweet, boa wearing (evidently), slightly greying, definitely intelligent, bloggy bud more than I ever want to again.
So get to writing.
Please.
I was wondering what happened to you! I'm glad your back and I'm excited to hear about your adventures, misadventures and gossip -- but give that boy a hug first.
Go Hug that hansome boy and get back to writing when your done. We all miss you terribly!
Ok, now that you are over that, blog already!
I just kept telling myself about your summer blogging thing - blogging less and all that. But, oh how I have MISSED you! Can't wait to hear about Blogher, and to read your stuff again. Welcome backy, funny lady. :)
And if he missed you half as much as I do having known you for like 8hours, you are one blessed woman! :)
As my daughter told me once, when talking about her younger brother, "What is it about boys, Mom? They really get to me."
Deb!! I have missed you!!
ya sure can! i think my pets miss me more when i'm away, or maybe teenagers don't like to admit they miss you!
Good lesson. I'm sure some people will agree with teenage daughters of the same age as well. Ah teenagers.
Did not know you were at BlogHer. Someone's going to have to ask me to be a guest speaker otherwise I will always miss it (even though it is in my home town).
Hope you had fun.
I had a painful gall bladder removed a few years ago. Is it anything like missing that???
Oh........you only missed the one? j/k. This warmed my heart.
I'll be looking for updates. I didn't know that you went to BlogHer too. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that wasn't there.
